We utilize the cutting-edge OnBaseU Level 1 Pitching Screen to assess your physical movement limitations and identify any pitching technical inhibitors that may limit accuracy, velocity, or increase injury risk. Our comprehensive approach includes utilizing movement, fitness, power, and medical assessment tools along with over 25 years of experience in athletic injury prevention and strength and conditioning.

The Wood & Iron Baseball Performance System

Phase 1 - A Comprehensive Movement Assessment

Wood & Iron uses the OnBaseU Pitching assessment to build a unique profile of who you are as an athlete and as a pitcher. This assessment, along with over 25 years of Baseball Sports Medicine and Performance experience, allow us to build a performance plan that is individualized and unique to your body and how you move.

Phase 2 - A Corrective Exercise Program

After learning about how your body moves and doing a comprehensive video pitching inhibitor analysis you are given a list of exercises specifically designed to meet the needs of your unique body to eliminate restriction. This phase is designed to make you move better and feel better!

Phase 3 - An Integrative Fitness Program

Now that you are moving your best its time to lock that movement into place through a Baseball specific comprehensive warm-up, activation, and fitness program. This Phase is designed to prevent injuries and to challenge your body through bodyweight,resistance training, and work capacity to improve your performance.

Phase 4 - Elite Performance Program

Phase 4 is a professional grade periodized program that takes into account your personal goals, competitive season, games, tournaments, and off season to give you a year round individualized program to maximize your performance. This program include bi-weekly remote coaching meetings to make program adjustments based on your feedback and progress.
